Greenacres Country Club – Friday 29th September
The day started out a bit foggy which caused some flight disruptions and a few travelers could not land and had to head back to Christchurch.
– But by lunchtime the weather cleared and we finally had mint day at Greenacres Country Club for the 2016 Southland Trades tourney.
With a good field of 61 and a table full of prizes we were ready to crack into it. The course was in fantastic nick which unfortunately was not reflected in some of the scoring. Top honors for the day went to stalwart Mark Boniface in the gross with 80.
A strong team was named to contest the 50th running of the Nationals.
