Battle of the Bombay's - Best Seven of Eight Stableford
Played between Auckland and Waikato
The competition was inaugurated in 2023 at the Whakatane Nationals mainly because Waikato wanted a reason to take a bottle of Bombay Sapphire, from at the time struggling Auckland Team, always up for a challenge Auckland accepted and duly lost!
The trophy was devised and constructed by Auckland to depict a significant representation of the two provinces.
Open to interpretation, "the design intention was Mooloo and Jaffa"!!
