Friday, May 12th, was a remarkable day in Palmy, with the Palmerston North Golf Club hosting our tournament. Despite the rain prior to the event, the club managed to present the course in excellent condition, with superb greens and dry fairways. Post-tournament, the clubhouse provided ample food, and there was no shortage of rehydration opportunities.
A total of 104 players participated, including a lot of first timers to the event, which was great to see, the day's good conditions reflected in the scores — for most of us, at least 😊.
