The Kornikova Shield was adapted from an original presentation of the Kornikova Doll, by the Auckland Team to the Canterbury Electrical Trades team, the doll was presented at the 2007 Nationals in Nelson, awarded for outstanding appearance in all fashion categories, but for little achievement in the winning of anything else.
Idea by Brian Cronin (AK) developed Mike Davies, shield by Gus Neaves, woodwork by Maurice Kremer, and doll by Brian Cronin. For annual competition between Auckland & Canterbury played at the National Electrical Trades Golf Tournament.
Best 7 Nett scores on each day combined. The highest total score is the loser and are the holder of the shield for the year.
