The Waahi Taakaro Golf Club played host to the Nelson Marlborough West Coast tournament on the 1st of October. After plenty of recent rain, a beautiful springs day welcomed the players.
The popular Ambrose format was retained for this year and in what could be a record number for the NMWC tournament, an impressive 20 teams (78 players) turned up.
While this made for a slow round over the 9 hole layout, no one seemed to mind too much.
Scoring for the most part was pretty good….
