Middle Districts 2025

Palmerston North Golf Club hosted our tournament on Friday, May 2nd. The weather initially started favorably but deteriorated towards the end of the round. Despite the prior rain, the club successfully presented the course in excellent condition, with superb greens and dry fairways. Following the tournament, the clubhouse provided ample food, and there were numerous opportunities for rehydration.

A total of 84 players participated, including a lot of first-timers to the event, which was great to see.
The day's good conditions reflected in the scores, for most of us, at least 😊.

Heartfelt thanks go to our on-course sponsors who were stationed at various holes, significantly enhancing the day's experience. We look forward to next year's challenges.
Special mentions to:
- Craig & Brigid from Schneider for the BBQ and refreshments.
- Bevan & Phil from Advance Electrical, with their chipping contest.
- Simon & Matt from Clevertronics, who sponsored the longest drive trophy.

Our gratitude extends to all sponsors who participated. Whether stationed at a hole or playing the course, your support is crucial for the event's growth and success, so we encourage continued support for these businesses.
The prize table was exceptional, thanks to contributions from many supporters.
Team BT Electrical clinched the team's section for the first time, big congrats to them.

Appreciation is also due to the Middle Districts Committee and supporters for their role in organizing this event.
Finally, a thank you to all the teams who participated. We understand the difficulty of taking time from busy schedules and hope you enjoyed the opportunity to network within the industry.
Best Regards
Matt Pickering
